Donald James Seifert, known affectionately as Sam, was born on July 14, 1956, in Covington, Kentucky. He peacefully passed away on February 19, 2025, in Edgewood, Kentucky, surrounded by his family. Remembered for his warmth, humor, and selflessness, Sam was a dedicated family man who treasured time spent with loved ones. His love for animals shone through, finding joy in the companionship of his dogs, and simple pleasures like watching westerns.

In addition to his family and hobbies, Sam devoted much of his life to helping others by volunteering for St. Vincent de Paul, exemplifying his caring nature and deep community involvement. He is survived by his children Anthony James Seifert, Sarah O'Rourke, grandsons, and sisters Phyllis Bechtold, Kathaleen Griffin, and Carrie Centers. Sam was predeceased by his father, mother, brothers, and sister.

Visitation and funeral service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in Erlanger on February 26, 2025. Sam will be dearly missed, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
