Ronald Eugene Foltz, Accomplished Northern Kentucky Resident and Veteran, Passes Away at 83

Ronald Eugene Foltz, 83, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in Northern Kentucky. Born in Belleview, he was the son of Wilbur R. and Jane I. Foltz. He is survived by his children, Tonia Coleman, R.J. Foltz, Shane Foltz, step-grandchildren, and siblings Jan Kuper, Silvia Saylor, Rhonda Reynolds, and Charlie Foltz. Ronald proudly served in the United States Army and had a passion for the outdoors, with accomplishments in sports including pitching for the Cincinnati Reds farm team, lake building, hunting, and fishing. His athletic abilities led him to be inducted into the NKY Sports Hall of Fame and win the NKY Senior Amateur.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home in Florence, Kentucky. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, February 26, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Florence, followed by burial with military honors at St. Mary Cemetery in Fort Mitchell. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Red Cross or The Greater Cincinnati Golf Association for youth programs. Ron's memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
