Ludlow/Ft. Wright, KY - Dorothy Mae Colvin, affectionately known as "Frankie," age 83, passed away peacefully on February 19, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 29, 1941, in Covington, Kentucky, Frankie was a dedicated wife, mother, MawMaw, and friend. Her marriage to Gordon Colvin spanned over 65 years, characterized by love, devotion, and unwavering partnership. She found joy in various workplaces and hobbies, including trap shooting, crocheting, and knitting.

Frankie was known for her enthusiastic support of her granddaughters' endeavors, particularly in volleyball. She also ran a "Survivor" league for over 20 years. Her unwavering faith and love of God guided her throughout her life. Remembered for her generosity and warm smile, she touched many lives with her selflessness and love.

Survived by her loving husband, son, and granddaughters, Frankie leaves behind a devoted sister, brothers, extended family, nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever cherish her memory. A Visitation and funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home in Florence, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Foundation Associate Crisis Fund. Guests are encouraged to wear bright colors to reflect Frankie's vibrant personality. Frankie's love and kindness will be remembered by all who knew her.
