The installation of electric conduit for the Covington Central Riverfront development will impact traffic and pedestrian movement around Madison Avenue and Third Street over the next seven weeks. The project, located in Covington, Kentucky, is set to proceed in six phases starting today and concluding by the first week of April.

During this period, there will be times when lanes on Madison Avenue and Third Street are reduced or closed entirely. Pedestrian access to sidewalks may also be restricted. However, progress is dependent on weather conditions and other factors, so schedules may change.

Residents and commuters are advised to pay close attention to construction signage and detours as they will be updated regularly.

The Covington Central Riverfront is a 23-acre site positioned just west of Madison Avenue and north of Fourth Street. It is being prepared for transformation into a new mixed-use neighborhood. More information can be found on the CCR webpage.
