January concludes and February begins with a series of events in Covington, Kentucky. This weekend offers a variety of entertainment options, from musical performances to creative workshops.
"Seussical," a musical featuring beloved Dr. Seuss characters, opens Friday at The Carnegie. In collaboration with the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, the show promises an engaging experience for families. Performances will continue through subsequent weekends.
For those preparing for Valentine's Day, Purple Paisley, Local Artisan Shop hosts "Be Mine, Create Yours: Valentine’s Earring Crafting Class" on Saturday. Participants can create unique earrings using materials like Swarovski crystals and metal beads. Another workshop led by artist Emily Rose focuses on making personalized note cards for loved ones and hospitalized children as part of the Cards for Hospitalized Kids charity.
Beer enthusiasts can attend the Girl Scout Cookie & Beer Pairing at Braxton Brewing Co. on Saturday, where attendees can enjoy cookie pairing flights alongside various brews.
