The City of Florence and Boone County have announced a free End of the Summer Concert and Firework Show to celebrate the 225th Anniversary of Boone County. The event will take place at the Florence Government Center, located at 8100 Ewing Blvd., Florence, Kentucky, on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The evening will feature a live performance by The Danny Frazier Band. Attendees can enjoy various offerings from local food trucks such as Eddy’s BBQ, Phat Daddy’s Eats to Treats, and Poseidon’s Pizza. A dedicated kids’ activity area will be available with face painting, inflatables, and a balloon artist. The highlight of the evening will be a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs for a relaxing evening under the stars. This event aims to provide an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the end of summer.
