Covington hosts diverse events for relaxation ahead of Thanksgiving

Residents and visitors in Covington, Kentucky, have a variety of activities to choose from this weekend. As the holiday season approaches, these events offer opportunities for relaxation and enjoyment before the busy Thanksgiving week.

For those looking to find the perfect wine pairing for their Thanksgiving meal, Crafts & Vine is hosting a Thanksgiving Wine Tasting event tonight. Attendees can sample wines such as Le Rocher des Violettes Petillant Naturel and Domaine Bel-Air Beaujolais Villages.

On Saturday, Purple Paisley, Local Artisan Shop offers a Holiday Ornament Decoration workshop led by artist Sandy Zureick. Participants will create ornaments using rhinestones and diamond art techniques.

Crafts & Vines also hosts Pet Portrait Sessions on Saturday. This event includes a photo session with your pet and a complimentary drink. Images will be available for purchase through an online gallery.

Sunday's schedule includes "Shop & Feed Your Soul – Awakening Your Divine Feminine" at SoHza Sister Boutique. The event focuses on empowerment and self-discovery through meditation and sound baths.

Live music performances are scheduled throughout the weekend at venues like Madison Live and Molly Malone’s Irish Pub & Restaurant. Artists include Oujja Macc, The Missy Werner Band, Sneezy, Chelsey Parker Duo, Brown-Brunson Quintet, Aweminus, and Jeanne Phillips Trio.

Additional events include Holly Jolly Days at Behringer-Crawford Museum running throughout the weekend, along with activities like Covington Farmers Market at Braxton Brewing Co., MainStrasse Village Food Tour, Grainwell Holiday Open House at Grainwell on Saturday, and Run with the Dogs at Kenton County Animal Shelter on Sunday.
