COVINGTON, Ky. – NKY Pride 2024 marks its 15th year of celebration in Covington, Kentucky, embodying the city's inclusive spirit with the slogan "Y’all really means all." The event promises parades, parties, drag shows, vendors, music, and more to celebrate diversity and love.
Tonight's festivities include a Pride Rooftop Drag Show at Braxton Brewing Co., featuring entertainment hosted by Molly Mormen and the launch of Braxton’s new Pride Watermelon Birdie. One dollar per pint sold will be donated to NKY Pride.
On Saturday, Smoke Justis will host Q4A Cure Swingin’ for Lou Street Bar-B-Q to raise funds for ALS research and patient care. This event commemorates the 10th anniversary of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
Sunday’s events start with a parade at noon, followed by NKY PrideFest at Goebel Park. Participants can join the Drag Bike Brigade or attend a Pop-Up NKY Pride Parade Party at the NKY Pride Center. The day concludes with an Official NKY Pride After Party at Hotel Covington featuring performances from various artists.
Additional activities throughout the weekend include live music performances across multiple venues, bingo nights, wine tasting events, farmers markets, and more.
