COVINGTON, Ky. – Residents living near the OneNKY Center construction site on Greenup Street and Roebling Way have been notified about the upcoming overnight concrete pour scheduled for next week.

According to Jeff Guenther, superintendent at Paul Hemmer Co., the concrete slab pours are planned at 3 a.m. to avoid traffic congestion and ensure proper curing without being affected by rising daytime temperatures. Guenther assured, "We will take all measures to reduce the noise and lighting as to not disrupt the local neighbors."

The overnight concrete pours are set to occur on Tuesday next week, as well as on April 26 and May 28, weather permitting. Guenther mentioned that meetings have been held with nearby residents and management to inform them of the construction schedule.

The OneNKY Center project, with a price tag of $26 million, commenced on August 30, 2023, near the Gruff Restaurant. The office building will encompass 43,000 square feet of space and serve as the home for various regional organizations, including the OneNKY Alliance, Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, meetNKY, BE NKY Growth Partnership, the Catalytic Fund of Northern Kentucky, Horizon Community Funds of Northern Kentucky, the Northern Kentucky Bar Association, and the Covington Life Sciences Partners (CLSP).

Residents in the vicinity have been reassured that efforts will be made to minimize any disturbances during the overnight construction activities at the OneNKY Center.
