Thomas Massie, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kentucky's 4th district, has recently voiced his opinions on various matters through a series of tweets. Massie, who has been a congressional representative since 2012 after replacing Geoff Davis, frequently shares his perspective on political and personal issues via social media.

On April 18, 2025, Massie commented on the nature of congressional work, noting, "For most of my colleagues, being in Congress is the best job they ever had. They have a flexible schedule, good pay, and fancy dinners." He indicated that some of his colleagues in Congress might avoid difficult conversations with voters or opposing Trump to safeguard their reelection prospects.

On April 20, 2025, Massie criticized the U.S. Department of Agriculture under the Biden administration by stating, "Although we can argue about which came first, the chicken or the egg; without chickens you have no eggs. Joe Biden’s USDA killed over 100 million HEALTHY birds in a brute-force dim-witted effort to control bird flu." He expressed concern over the USDA's methods of containing bird flu.

On April 21, 2025, Massie shared a personal message reflecting on his Easter holiday experiences. He wrote, "I hope you and your family had a happy and blessed Easter! I spent Easter Sunday with my kids and grandbabies, and then I planted a peach tree where one had been before." This tweet highlights his family-oriented side and interest in gardening.

Massie, 52, was born in Huntington, West Virginia, and resides in Garrison. A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree obtained in 1993, he also has a background in the Kentucky House of Representatives and served as the Lewis County Judge Executive.
