On Monday, March 24, former Cooper High School standout Bella Deere’s current collegiate team the Gannon Golden Knights lost 60-32 against the Grand Valley State Lakers in the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, this was the first game against the Grand Valley State Lakers during the championship.

Bella Deere’s hometown is Union and game position is guard.
