Brenda Sue Landrum, a treasured daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, peacefully passed away on February 10, 2025, in Edgewood, Kentucky. Born on August 12, 1941, in Covington, Kentucky, Brenda led a life brimming with love, kindness, and a deep commitment to her family and community. A retired nurse from St. Elizabeth Hospital, she was known for her caring demeanor and dedication to helping others.

Brenda's effervescent personality radiated warmth and joy, drawing people to her with her loving and playful spirit. Her children, Tammy (Joe) Landrum, Jennifer (Harry) Long, Brian Landrum, and Debbie (Ron) Wilson, cherished their time with their devoted mother. As a nurturing grandmother to a large brood of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren, Brenda’s love overflowed, leaving a lasting imprint on each of their hearts.

A proud Navy veteran, Brenda exemplified resilience and patriotism, attributes that defined her life's journey. She found delight in tropical cruises and shared memorable adventures in the Smoky Mountains with her late husband, Robert. Brenda also enjoyed excursions to the casino with her siblings, creating joyous moments filled with laughter and camaraderie.

Joining Brenda in celebrating her life and honoring her memory are her siblings, Rosie Caldwell and Terry (Debbie) Vannarsdall, who valued their close relationship with her.

Brenda will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love, joy, and strength will endure through her loved ones. As family and friends gather to pay their respects, the visitation and funeral service will be held on February 17, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northern Kentucky, with burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Elizabeth Hospice are welcomed as a tribute to Brenda's memory and the exceptional care she and her family received.

Brenda Sue Landrum’s compassionate spirit and joyful presence will continue to inspire her loved ones to embrace life with love and happiness, in the same spirit she exemplified.
