Covington—Wilma Louise Teegarden, 84, of Covington, a retired bartender known for her warm smile and generous spirit, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 31, 1940, in Falmouth, Kentucky, Wilma was a cherished member of her community.

Wilma dedicated many years to her career as a bartender, creating lasting memories for patrons with her engaging personality and attentiveness. In retirement, she found joy in watching QVC and the Hallmark Channel, indulging her love for shopping and heartwarming stories.

Wilma is survived by her son, Troy Teegarden (Myong), and her grandson, Scott Teegarden. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert and Louise Moore Teegarden.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Floral Hills Funeral Home - Chapel A, located at 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at the same location at 12:00 PM. Entombment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

Those who knew and loved Wilma are invited to join in celebrating her life and the joy she brought to everyone around her. Her legacy of warmth and generosity will continue to be treasured by her family and friends.
