If your trash and recycling is usually collected on Thursday or Friday, you can expect no changes this Thanksgiving week in Covington, Kentucky. The City of Covington has announced that its regular schedule will continue without delays or interruptions during the holiday.
The Covington Transfer Station, managed by Rumpke Waste & Recycling located off Boron Drive in Latonia, will have adjusted hours. On Thanksgiving Day, the facility will operate from 8 a.m. to noon. Normal hours will resume on Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.
