In preparation for St. Patrick's Day, the city of Florence is gearing up for an exciting citywide scavenger hunt, set to take place from March 9 to March 17. The event promises a thrilling exploration and camaraderie for participants of all ages.
Participants will have the opportunity to venture through Florence, stopping at iconic landmarks and hidden gems in search of nine GIANT Irish symbols scattered throughout the city. Armed with clues and a spirit of adventure, participants will work their way through the hunt, with each clue leading them closer to the next symbol.
"To the place where the Mayor’s duties flow. Where the city holds its prestigious ground, the clue to your hunt can here be found," reads the first clue, setting the tone for an exciting and engaging experience.
To add a touch of memorability to the event, participants are encouraged to document their journey by taking photos at each stop. These photos can then be submitted to Community Services Coordinator, Victoria Riley, at victoria.riley@florence-ky.gov for the chance to win a "pot of gold" prize.
"Join us in celebrating St. Patrick's Day in a unique and engaging way. Let the adventure begin and may the luck of the Irish be with you," invites the organizers, promising a festive and enjoyable experience for all involved.
