Men’s Basketball wins another thriller with victory over Eastern Kentucky
The Northern Kentucky men's basketball program won another thriller in front of Norse Nation as NKU collected a 64-61 victory in a clash with in-state rival Eastern Kentucky inside Truist Arena on Wednesday evening.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- A'lahn Sumler had a career-night as he dropped in 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the field (all from beyond the arc). He also pulled down four rebounds to go with a steal.
- Xavier Rhodes continued his strong stretch of play with another double-digit outing. He scored a team-best 19 points and added four assists, a block and a steal. The Lee's Summit, Missouri native went 7-of-9 from the field overall, and 3-of-4 from three-point land. Rhodes has averaged 12.9 points, 3.7 assists and 2.0 steals over his last seven contests.
- Marques Warrick and Trey Robinson each notched nine points. Warrick also chipped in five boards, three assists and a block while Robinson added three rebounds and an assist, respectively.
- Imanuel Zorgvol scored six points on a perfect 3-of-3 night from the field to go with five rebounds and a block.
- Sam Vinson pulled down a game and career-best 10 boards and added four points and three steals.
- Chris Brandon was also active on the glass with eight rebounds. He also sealed the game with a huge block on EKU with just nine seconds left to play.
- The Norse have now won four-of-their-past-five games and sit a perfect 2-0 in Horizon League play.
- NKU also improved to 3-2 against EKU since joining the NCAA Division I ranks. The Norse are a perfect 3-0 against EKU inside Truist Arena since becoming a NCAA DI program.
