73 percent of applicants to the University of the Cumberlands were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of the Cumberlands, 71 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 58 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Williamsburg enrolled 13,472 students in fall 2018, including 3,262 in undergraduate and 10,210 in graduate programs, data shows. 8.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

54 percent of undergraduates are residents of Kentucky, and 42 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (37 percent) and Black or African American (2 percent).

The school admitted 73 percent of the 2,348 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 27 percent enrolled.
