The lowest reported price for midgrade gas in Grant County was $3.06 per gallon during the week ending Feb. 28, available at one gas station, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

Reported prices for midgrade gas in Grant County averaged $3.15 per gallon.

Grant County had four of 20 reported gas stations offering midgrade gas.

The statewide average price of midgrade gas in Kentucky was $3.16 per gallon for the week ending Feb. 28, an increase from the previous week.

U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
