Thomas Massie, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Kentucky’s 4th district, has recently shared his thoughts on various topics through a series of tweets. Massie, who has been serving in Congress since 2012 after succeeding Geoff Davis, often shares personal and political insights with his followers.

On July 8, 2025, Massie posed a provocative question regarding the controversial figure Jeffrey Epstein. He tweeted, “Was Jeffrey Epstein an asset of a government intelligence agency?” This inquiry adds to the ongoing speculation and discussions surrounding Epstein’s connections and activities.

The following day, on July 9, 2025, Massie took to Twitter to share a personal moment from his life involving agriculture. He wrote about enjoying his first serious peach of the season and recounted the challenges faced due to weather conditions. He stated, “Just had my first serious peach of the season and it was delicious! The fruit on my early peach varieties didn’t survive the late freeze but this classic Red Haven made it thanks to the tarp we applied back in the spring. I even had to thin about 70% of the peaches off this tree.”

Later that day, Massie addressed what appears to be criticism or opposition he faces from others. He expressed confidence in his ability to withstand such pressures by saying, “I don’t really think he has a vendetta against me,” Massie said. “He’s trying to keep the other people in lockstep with him by attacking me. He knows I can weather it.”

Thomas Massie’s background includes graduating from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Born in Huntington, West Virginia in 1971, he currently resides in Garrison.
