U.S. Congressman Thomas Massie, who represents Kentucky’s 4th district, posted a series of tweets on September 3, 2025, regarding efforts to force a vote on releasing files related to Jeffrey Epstein.
In his first tweet at 01:43 UTC, Massie wrote, “In just 2 hours, our discharge petition to force a vote on releasing the Epstein files garnered 134 signers. We are over halfway to 218. Thank you to @RepBoebert, @RepMTG, and @RepNancyMace for signing the petition and standing up for the victims. Where are the men?”
Later that morning at 02:22 UTC, he posted another message acknowledging support from a colleague: “Thank you @NancyMace for supporting the survivors of Epstein’s sex trafficking ring by signing the discharge petition today to release the Epstein files.”
By midday at 12:39 UTC, Massie commented on reported White House opposition: “White House says helping me secure a vote to release all the Epstein files is a ‘Hostile Act.’ They’re threatening anyone who helps bring true transparency and justice for the survivors. This is a tacit admission the Oversight Committee data release is woefully incomplete.”
Thomas Massie has served in Congress since replacing Geoff Davis in 2012 and previously held roles in state government including as Lewis County Judge Executive. He was born in Huntington, West Virginia in 1971 and resides in Garrison. Massie graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1993.
