U.S. Congressman Thomas Massie, who represents Kentucky’s 4th district, recently posted a series of tweets addressing government spending and congressional efforts related to the Jeffrey Epstein controversy.

On July 18, 2025, Massie shared concerns about military appropriations in a tweet stating: “Grand total of $3,881,976,000 ≈ $4billion This is almost half of the amount of the rescissions, sent overseas in one bill that was supposed to be for OUR Military. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!” He highlighted what he characterized as significant funds being allocated overseas from a bill intended for domestic military use.

The following day, July 19, 2025, Massie referenced bipartisan cooperation in Congress regarding transparency over Jeffrey Epstein-related records. He wrote: “Good article: ‘The unlikely alliance of the populist left and right has strengthened over the Jeffrey Epstein controversy. Leading the charge for Congress to vote on publicizing Epstein-related records are Reps. Thomas Massie and @RepRoKhanna.'”

Later that same day, Massie commented on political resistance to reform efforts with another post: ‘”First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” We are at the third stage. And “they” are the global elite who control the uniparty with impunity.’

Thomas Massie has served in Congress since 2012 after replacing Geoff Davis and previously held positions in Kentucky state government. Born in Huntington, West Virginia in 1971 and currently residing in Garrison, he graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1993.
