Thomas Massie, currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Kentucky’s 4th district since 2012, has recently shared a series of statements on legislative efforts and transparency initiatives via social media. Massie, who succeeded Geoff Davis in Congress and holds a degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, continues to be active in policy debates.

On July 15, 2025, Massie commented on the legislative process regarding digital currencies: “They blocked consideration of my amendments to the Clarity Act which would have prohibited Central Bank Digital Currencies as well.”

Later that day, he announced the introduction of new legislation: “Today I introduced HR 4388, a bill to repeal the tyrannical PREP Act. The 2005 PREP Act prevents people from holding corporations accountable for the pain and suffering they cause during Presidentially declared emergencies. Medical malpractice martial law must end.”

In a third post on July 15, 2025, Massie addressed ongoing concerns about transparency related to high-profile legal cases: “We all deserve to know what’s in the Epstein files, who’s implicated, and how deep this corruption goes. Americans were promised justice and transparency. We’re introducing a discharge petition to force a vote in the US House of Representatives on releasing the COMPLETE files.”

Thomas Massie was born in Huntington, West Virginia in 1971 and currently resides in Garrison. He previously served in the Kentucky House of Representatives and as Lewis County Judge Executive.
