Thomas Massie, U.S. Congressman representing Kentucky’s 4th district since 2012, posted a series of updates on his social media accounts between May 1 and May 2, 2026. The posts covered legislative activity, constituent services for veterans, and commentary on federal actions affecting the airline industry.

On May 1, Massie shared information about proposed legislation: @RepMGP Here is a link to the text of HR 8591.

Later that day, he highlighted his office’s work with veterans: My staff helped a constituent obtain her late father’s 8 medals & badges, including a Purple Heart and Bronze Star.

My district office is available to assist veterans with navigating the VA, obtaining copies of service records, or securing medals that were lost or never issued. https://t.co/46AxQKBE34 (May 1).

On May 2, Massie commented on recent developments in the airline sector: Biden took the unprecedented step of using the Dept. of Transportation AND the DOJ to block a merger of JetBlue and faltering Spirit.

That block and high fuel prices have led to Spirit’s demise. Here I am in 2023 grilling Sec. Buttigieg about the block:
