Thomas Massie, U.S. Congressman representing Kentucky’s 4th district since 2012, has used his social media platform to update followers on legislative developments and his positions on several key issues.
On September 9, 2025, Massie highlighted progress on a petition regarding the release of the Epstein files. He posted: “‘Rep. Massie’s discharge petition on releasing the Epstein files is all but certain to force a House vote by the end of this month — even if no additional Republicans sign on.’ … because 2 empty seats in Congress will be filled w/ reps. who will sign.” (September 9, 2025)
Later that day, Massie addressed upcoming congressional action concerning military authorization legislation. He wrote: “Upcoming floor vote: I’m a cosponsor of this bipartisan amendment to repeal the Authorizations of Use of Military Force (AUMFs) for both wars in Iraq. Thank you to @RepChipRoy, @RepRalphNorman, and @RepMGriffith for voting in Rules Committee to allow this to get a floor vote.” (September 9, 2025)
In another post on September 9, Massie expressed appreciation for support on gun rights legislation: “Thank you to @RepPatFallon for cosponsoring HR 645, the National Constitutional Carry Act. No one should have to beg the government to exercise a constitutionally protected right anywhere in the country.” (September 9, 2025)
Massie has served as representative for Kentucky’s 4th District since replacing Geoff Davis in Congress in 2012 and previously held roles in state government such as Lewis County Judge Executive.
