U.S. Congressman Thomas Massie, who represents Kentucky’s 4th district, recently highlighted his support for credit unions and veteran-owned businesses in a series of posts on social media.
On March 10, 2026, Massie posted about his meeting with leaders from Kentucky credit unions. He wrote, “Last week, I met with leaders from @KYCreditUnions. I like the community-focused approach they bring to banking. I’m cosponsoring H.R. 507, the Veterans Member Business Loan Act, to exclude credit union financing for veteran-owned businesses from the artificial caps on lending.”
In a follow-up post on the same day, Massie expressed appreciation for local credit union employees: “Thank you to the employees of L&N Federal Credit Union, Members Choice Credit Union, and Commonwealth Credit Union for the visit.”
The next morning, March 11, Massie announced an upcoming radio appearance: “I’ll be on @55krc’s ‘Brian Thomas Morning Show’ today at 8:05 AM ET. Tune in!”
Thomas Massie has served as a member of Congress since 2012 after replacing Geoff Davis and previously held positions in state government including service in the Kentucky House of Representatives and as Lewis County Judge Executive. Born in Huntington, West Virginia in 1971 and currently residing in Garrison, Massie is also an MIT graduate.
