U.S. Congressman Thomas Massie, who represents Kentucky’s 4th district, posted a series of tweets on September 9 and 10, 2025, addressing legislative activity, media appearances, and congressional tools.

On September 9, Massie thanked a colleague for support on a gun rights bill: “Thank you to @RepAdrianSmith for cosponsoring HR 645, the National Constitutional Carry Act. No one should have to beg the government to exercise a constitutionally protected right anywhere in the country.”

The following morning, Massie announced an upcoming radio appearance: “I’ll be on @55KRC’s ‘Brian Thomas Morning Show’ today at 8:05 AM ET. Tune in! https://t.co/mTpWeT9O5g” (September 10).

Later that day, he commented on the use of autopens in Congress: “There’s been a lot of talk about AUTOPENS recently. Almost as soon as I received my congressional AUTOPEN many years ago, I realized it was a ‘workplace hazard,’ so I put this warning-sign on it! https://t.co/qO2UogyHmL” (September 10).

Massie has served in Congress since replacing Geoff Davis in 2012 and previously held positions in Kentucky state government. He is originally from Huntington, West Virginia and resides in Garrison. Massie holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
