Thomas Massie, U.S. Congressman representing Kentucky’s 4th district since 2012, addressed several topics on his social media account on August 20, 2025. His posts ranged from criticism of international legal proceedings to calls for legislative transparency and a personal tribute.
In a post at 13:10 UTC, Massie wrote, “The United States should not let men arrested for felony sex offenses with minors leave the country without trial, yet a high ranking official in Israel’s cyber directorate was allowed to do just that. This video contains the latest details of the arrest.”
Later that day at 15:23 UTC, he commented on ongoing efforts to increase transparency regarding the Jeffrey Epstein case: “Three decades of coverups, failures, and payoffs. Read this timeline and consider the magnitude of relevant evidence that hasn’t been released. Our bill to release the Epstein files can bring justice, transparency, & closure. Ask your congressman to sign the discharge petition.”
At 17:14 UTC, Massie shared a personal message celebrating former Congressman Ron Paul’s birthday: “Happy 90th Birthday @RonPaul ! Here’s a picture of the first time my late wife and I met Ron, a video of Ron congratulating me after the first speech I gave in the House of Representatives (the day I was sworn in), and a recent photo when I gave him a debt badge!”
Massie has represented Kentucky’s 4th District since succeeding Geoff Davis in 2012 and previously served as Lewis County Judge Executive as well as in the Kentucky House of Representatives. Born in Huntington, West Virginia in 1971 and currently residing in Garrison, Massie holds an undergraduate degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology earned in 1993.
