Thomas Massie, U.S. Congressman representing Kentucky’s 4th district since 2012, posted a series of tweets on September 24, 2025, addressing concerns about the Department of Justice’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case and discussing economic issues impacting Americans.
In a tweet posted at 14:13 UTC, Massie criticized the Department of Justice for its response to congressional oversight regarding the Epstein investigation. He stated, “With all due respect to my friend Clay Higgins, Americans are weary. Billionaires and politically connected men to whom Epstein trafficked women have been given a pass. The files DOJ released to Oversight are redacted and incomplete. This became obvious when Dir. Patel testified.”
Later that day at 20:24 UTC, Massie shared details from a public event in Wurtland with Senator Rand Paul. He wrote, “This morning, @SenRandPaul and I held a regional forum in Wurtland at Portable Solutions Group (PSG). Thank you to everyone who came to our event and to PSG for hosting us.
Inflation and high interest rates are hurting Americans. Rand and I are working to cut spending.”
At 20:44 UTC on the same day, Massie highlighted new information related to the Epstein case by tweeting, ” Senior DOJ Investigator who says he interviewed victims for the government’s Epstein case spills the beans on a hidden camera.”
Massie has represented Kentucky’s 4th District in Congress since replacing Geoff Davis in 2012. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he served in the Kentucky House of Representatives and as Lewis County Judge Executive. Born in Huntington, West Virginia in 1971, Massie currently resides in Garrison and graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1993.
