Thomas Massie, U.S. Congressman representing Kentucky’s 4th district since 2012, recently commented on the national debt and announced a radio appearance through his official Twitter account.
On August 13, 2025, Massie addressed the rising national debt in a post referencing recent legislation: “Thanks to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, the debt just officially passed the $37 trillion mark.”

Massie has represented Kentucky’s 4th District in Congress since succeeding Geoff Davis in 2012 and previously served as Lewis County Judge Executive and in the Kentucky House of Representatives. Born in Huntington, West Virginia in 1971 and currently residing in Garrison, Massie holds a bachelor’s degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
