Thomas Massie, U.S. Congressman representing Kentucky’s 4th district since 2012, announced on November 18, 2025, that his legislation with Rep. Ro Khanna to release the Epstein files passed in the House of Representatives by a vote of 427 to 1.

On his social media account, Massie stated, “My legislation with @RepRoKhanna to release the Epstein files just passed 427 to 1 !” (November 18, 2025). Later that day, he expressed appreciation for Senate support: “Thank you @SenRandPaul for cosponsoring our Epstein legislation in the Senate!” (November 18, 2025).

Massie also informed followers about an upcoming television appearance: “At 9:00 PM ET, @RepRoKhanna, Epstein sex trafficking survivors, and I will join @kaitlancollins on @CNN. Tune in! The House voted 427-1 to pass our Epstein Files Transparency Act. Senators should quickly send our bill to the President.” (November 18, 2025).

Massie has served as Kentucky’s representative in Congress since succeeding Geoff Davis in 2012 and previously held roles in state government including as Lewis County Judge Executive. Born in Huntington, West Virginia in 1971 and currently residing in Garrison, Massie holds a BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
