Thomas Massie, U.S. Congressman representing Kentucky’s 4th district since 2012, has recently addressed a series of political issues and personal positions through his social media posts.

On September 23, 2025, Massie referenced ongoing political dynamics involving former President Donald Trump by posting: “As Trump pushes to unseat Massie, why have no challengers entered the race?” You have to wonder.

The following day, September 24, 2025, he commented on past U.S. foreign policy in Syria: “This tweet is 12 years old. I said we shouldn’t try to overthrow the Syrian government. But the US govt persisted, spent billions of your dollars, and now Al Qaeda controls Syria.”

Later that morning, Massie outlined his legislative priorities and response to criticism: “Although I’m being attacked, I’m not angry and this isn’t personal. I will keep
voting against unsound fiscal policy
opposing foreign aid & war
pushing to release Epstein files
advocating for small farms
protecting free speech
defending the right to bear arms”

Massie has represented Kentucky’s 4th District in Congress since succeeding Geoff Davis in 2012. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in the Kentucky House of Representatives and as Lewis County Judge Executive. Born in Huntington, West Virginia in 1971 and currently residing in Garrison, Massie graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1993.
