Thomas Massie, U.S. Congressman representing Kentucky’s 4th district since 2012, has recently made several posts on his social media account addressing ideological issues and legislative developments.

On September 13, 2025, Massie posted a critique of leftist ideology, stating: “At its core, leftist ideology is based on violence toward individuals. Leftists depend on government force to control human behavior and redistribute private property.”

In a subsequent post dated September 14, 2025, Massie discussed ongoing efforts in Congress related to the Epstein files. He wrote: “We have 217 signatures on the discharge petition to force a vote on legislation to release the Epstein files. We need 218. Will the 218th (final) signature be a Republican or a Democrat? It’s time for every Congressmen to support transparency and justice for the victims.”

Later that day, he added a brief message: “I hope you have a great Sunday.”

Massie has represented Kentucky’s 4th District in Congress since succeeding Geoff Davis in 2012 and previously served in the Kentucky House of Representatives as well as holding the position of Lewis County Judge Executive. Born in Huntington, West Virginia in 1971 and currently residing in Garrison, Massie holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
