U.S. Congressman Thomas Massie, who represents Kentucky’s 4th district, recently shared a series of posts on his social media account addressing constitutional rights, national priorities, and an upcoming press conference on high-profile abuse cases.

On August 10, 2025, Massie commented on recent law enforcement actions with the statement: “Congrats on cracking down on crime, but… carrying a pistol without a license isn’t a crime, it’s a constitutionally protected right.”

The following day, August 11, 2025, he posted about his political stance regarding national interests: “America first means Americans first. Not American allies Not American corporations Not American government Not American politicians American people I am America first, are you?”

Later that same day, Massie announced an event scheduled for September at the U.S. Capitol: “On September 3rd at 10:30am ET, @RepRoKhanna and I will be hosting a press conference at the Capitol joined by survivors of Epstein and Maxwell’s abuse — several of whom will be speaking out for the first time. The survivors deserve justice and Americans deserve transparency.”

Thomas Massie has served in Congress since replacing Geoff Davis in 2012 and previously held positions in the Kentucky House of Representatives as well as serving as Lewis County Judge Executive. Born in Huntington, West Virginia in 1971 and currently residing in Garrison, Massie graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1993.
