U.S. Congressman Thomas Massie, who represents Kentucky’s 4th district, posted a series of statements on September 3, 2025, regarding efforts to bring transparency and justice for survivors of Jeffrey Epstein.

In his first post at 14:00 UTC, Massie wrote, “Epstein’s survivors deserve justice and Americans deserve transparency.”

Shortly after, at 14:27 UTC, he announced the beginning of a press event with the message: “About to begin the Survivors press conference.”

Later that evening at 23:37 UTC, Massie shared details from the event. He stated, “Survivors at our press conference announced they are privately compiling their own Epstein list. They would be sued into homelessness for naming names, but @RepMTG and I are willing to name names in the House of Representatives under Constitutional ‘speech or debate’ immunity.”

Thomas Massie has served in Congress since 2012 after replacing Geoff Davis and previously held positions in Kentucky state government. Born in Huntington, West Virginia in 1971 and currently residing in Garrison, Massie is an MIT graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree earned in 1993.
