Summer events return to Covington with concerts, movies, crafts, and more

The city of Covington, Kentucky, is set to host a series of summer events that cater to various interests. These activities include concerts, movie nights, craft markets, and more.

The Behringer-Crawford Museum will kick off its 2025 Music@BCM Summer Concert Series with “Music@BCM Presents The Turkeys.” Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for the outdoor event. Food will be available from Skyline Chili or Taste on Elm, along with drinks from a cash bar. The museum will also feature special exhibits in celebration of its 75th anniversary.

Cornhole enthusiasts can participate in the American Cornhole League’s Thursday Night Cornhole Tournament at The Fieldhouse. Whether experienced or new to the game, participants are welcome to join.

Revival Vintage Spirits & Bottle Shop will host Ed Bley from Rising Tides Spirits on Friday. Bley will present the latest releases from Rising Tides: Old Stubborn and Old Swagger.

Covington Parks and Recreation will offer a free Movie Night in the Park featuring “If” at Hands Pike Park on Friday. Drinks and snacks will be provided at no cost.

On Saturday, residents can enjoy a day at Randolph Pool or Bill Cappel Splash Pad as part of Covington Parks and Recreation’s opening day festivities.

For those interested in crafts, Goebel Park will host Cov Craft Covington’s Curated Makers Market on Saturday. This event is organized by Handzy Shop + Studio and features local vendors, food, and beer from West Sixth Brewing.

SoHza Sister Boutique offers a unique brunch experience on Sunday with June Brunch & Blessings – “Forgiveness” led by Mary Barr Rhodes. Participants can engage in a Forgiveness Circle while enjoying food and a sound bath by Sonya.

Live music performances throughout the weekend include Chris Runnels Duo at Smoke Justis tonight; Leroy Ellington at Smoke Justis and Angie Coyle Quartet at Juniper’s on Friday; Brian Dolwick at Smoke Justis and Wonkywilla: Get Wonked Tour with Wiley & Uncle Harold at Galaxie on Saturday; and In The End – Linkin Park Experience at Madison Theater on Sunday.

Additional events include Sip Social: Ripple’s Monthly Tasting at The Bottle Shop tonight; Shrinky Dink Social Hour at Artmarkit on Friday; Covington Farmers Market on Saturday; and Yoga with Kittens at Purrfect Day Cat Café on Sunday.
