Thomas Massie, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Kentucky's 4th district, recently shared a series of tweets. His posts reflect his media engagements and his perspectives on legislative processes. Massie, who has been serving in Congress since 2012 after replacing Geoff Davis, is known for his active role in political discourse.

On April 9, 2025, Massie announced his appearance on the "Brian Thomas Morning Show," stating, "I'll be on @55KRC's 'Brian Thomas Morning Show' today at 8:05 AM ET. Tune in!" This engagement is part of his regular communications with constituents, aiming to address current political issues and his positions.

In another tweet posted on the same day, Massie simply wrote "Hero", accompanied by a link. The brief message suggests shared content related to matters he deems important or commendable, though the tweet provides limited context.

The third tweet from April 9, 2025, addressed procedural concerns in the legislative process, questioning the lack of voting on tariffs. Massie critiqued Speaker Johnson's use of Rules Committee Resolutions, remarking, "Why haven’t we voted on tariffs in the House of Representatives? Because Speaker Johnson is using Rules Committee Resolutions, consummated by majority votes of the whole House, to declare that 'a day is not a day' in order to AVOID THE U.S. LAW that requires Congress to vote."

Thomas Massie, born in 1971 in Huntington, West Virginia, has an educational background from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he completed his BS in 1993. He resides in Garrison, maintaining strong ties with his constituency in Kentucky.
