The City of Covington has released body camera footage and related incident reports concerning a traffic stop and subsequent arrest that took place on September 23, 2024. This move is aimed at improving transparency and fostering community trust.

A city representative stated, "By making these materials available, we aim to empower our community with the facts, while reinforcing our commitment to integrity and trustworthiness."
