Representative Thomas Massie is set to host his annual "Academy Day" on Saturday, April 26th, at the Marriott Cincinnati Airport in Hebron, Kentucky. The event provides an opportunity for students and their parents to meet with representatives from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the Naval Academy, the Air Force Academy, the Merchant Marine Academy, and the Coast Guard Academy.
According to Representative Massie, attending a U.S. Service Academy allows young men and women to serve their country while developing character through a challenging academic curriculum and disciplined moral and physical training. Admission to these academies is competitive, with selection based on factors such as character, leadership, academic excellence, physical aptitude, and extracurricular activities.
High school students interested in learning more about these opportunities are encouraged to attend "Academy Day." The event will begin with registration from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by the program from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Students should RSVP if they plan to attend.
