Eileen M. Smith, 85, Remembered for Loving Nature and Generous Spirit

Eileen M. Smith, affectionately known for her sweet, kind, and caring demeanor, was born on September 23, 1939, in Rochester, New York. She peacefully departed this world on November 28, 2024, in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth.

Eileen was an exceptional individual with a talent for making everyone feel welcomed, never meeting a stranger. Her connections with people showcased her loving nature, reflecting her role as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who held her family in the highest regard. Immense joy came from spending time with loved ones, creating a home filled with laughter and compassion.

In her younger years, Eileen found delight in tending to her garden and sharing her culinary creations, activities she approached with the same love and dedication she offered her family. Her hobbies weren't simply tasks but expressions of her generous spirit, bringing joy and beauty to those around her.

Survived by her children, Thomas, Lisa, Randy, and Brian Findley, Eileen leaves an enduring legacy through her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They carry with them the essence of her love and spirit, each a reflection of her kindness.

Preceded in death by her father, Roy Underwood; mother, Rita Underwood; and son, Mike Findley, their presence lingers in her life story, enriching the tapestry of her being.

A celebration of Eileen's life will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northern Kentucky in Erlanger, Kentucky. Friends and family are invited to join in remembrance on December 5, 2024. A visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM will precede a memorial service at 2:00 PM dedicated to honoring her memory and the love she shared.

Eileen's spirit will continue to radiate in the hearts of those who were touched by her loving presence, inspiring kindness, compassion, and a deep love for family. She brought blessings to all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
