Florence, Kentucky - Estil Taylor, aged 94, of Florence, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. Born in Hima, Kentucky, to his late parents Charlie and Parlie Taylor. Estil led a life filled with love, commitment, and service to his country and family.

Preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis Jean Taylor, along with several family members, Estil is survived by his current wife, Wanda Taylor, sons Estil Lee, Rick (Cheryl), Steve (Sue), daughters Kelli, Tammi (Michael), brothers Dean, Charlie, Les, and sister Wanda. He will be deeply missed by his devoted grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Estil proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War and later worked as a truck driver at Roadway Express for 30 years. A member of the Florence Masonic Lodge, he enjoyed horseback riding, vacationing, camping, and boating with his family. Remembered for his kindness and love for family, Estil will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Stith Funeral Home in Florence from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a funeral service following on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Burlington Cemetery in Burlington, Kentucky.
