The City of Florence has launched an online survey to collect public input for future improvements to the city's Aquatic Center. The survey is accessible at engage.kzf.com/cofaquatics, allowing residents to participate at their convenience.

This initiative marks the first step in a series of engagement activities aimed at developing a master plan for the Florence Aquatic Center. The city is evaluating current operations to identify areas for enhancement or expansion that align with community needs.

The planning process involves analyzing existing conditions and creating concept plans, renderings, and cost estimates for potential upgrades. Survey results will inform decision-making during this initial phase. The city emphasizes the importance of public input in shaping a facility that benefits all residents.

The project team seeks to identify features and amenities that would be advantageous for Florence residents, aiming for long-term enjoyment while promoting wellness and educational opportunities across age groups.

The website engage.kzf.com/cofaquatics will remain active throughout the project. Residents can subscribe with their email addresses for updates on the Aquatic Center Master Plan process. Additional tools like an interactive map and ideas wall will be introduced soon, with initial concepts and draft plans available later for feedback.

Residents are encouraged to complete the survey by November 18, 2024. KZF Design, the city's planning consultant, will review feedback thoroughly and integrate it into their master plan report.

For questions about completing the survey, community members can contact KZF Design at (513) 621-6211 or eric.anderson@kzf.com.
