The City of Florence is inviting young residents to participate in a Halloween Art Contest. The contest will run from October 21 to October 25 and aims to showcase the creativity of children through imaginative artwork.

Participants can choose from four prompts: Haunted House, Friendly Monsters, Pumpkin Patch, and Spooky Candy. Each prompt encourages children to create themed artwork featuring elements like ghosts, monsters, pumpkins, and Halloween candy.

To enter the contest, participants must include their name, grade and age, school address, and adult contact information on the back of their artwork. Submissions should be sent to the Administration Department at the Florence Government Center by October 25.

Entries will be judged on creativity and use of color. Only one entry per child is allowed. The City of Florence reserves the right to use submitted artwork along with the child's first name and age for promotional purposes on its website and social media platforms.

Winners will be announced on October 28. For further details, interested parties can contact the Administration Department at 859-647-8177.

"We cannot wait to see all the spooky and creative artwork from our talented young artists," said a representative from the City of Florence.
