The City of Florence is excited to offer the nationally recognized Safe Sitter Essentials Course. The mission of the Safe Sitter program is to prepare your children to become responsible, safe sitters when they are home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting.
WHO: Youth in grades 6-8 are encouraged to register for the course.
WHEN: Saturday, January 20, 2024; April 6, 2024; July 13, 2024; October 12, 2024
TIME: 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
WHERE: Kalb Gathering House, 7200 Nature Park Drive, Florence, KY 41042
To register, email Victoria.riley@florence-ky.gov or call 859-647-5425. Registration is required and must be completed seven days prior to the class date. The class fee is $40 and includes a Safe Sitter kit. Payment is due at registration. Students should bring a sack lunch and drink/water bottle.
