They treated the audience to a family-friendly holiday program, featuring seasonal favorites by artists such as Pentatonix, Peter, Paul & Mary, John Coltraine, Blondie, and Manhattan Transfer. Guest artist Micah Davis also joined them on stage, adding his lead vocals to the mix.
For families looking for some free holiday fun, Covington Parks & Rec organized the annual Happy COV Holidays at City Hall. The event offered light refreshments, sparkly arts and crafts, and the opportunity to take fun holiday photos with Santa. The Parks & Rec team expressed their excitement for the event, ensuring a cheerful atmosphere for all attendees.
Not to be left out, cats had their turn to celebrate at The Roost Latonia with Meowy Christmas. This event followed last weekend's Howliday Market for dogs, ensuring that all furry friends had a chance to enjoy the holiday season. Attendees were encouraged to indulge in cat-themed items and treat themselves to a Kit Kat Latte.
Braxton Brewing Co. hosted the 5th Annual Reindeer Games, a festive event that included a Jubilee tapping ceremony, interactive holiday games, and a Covington Holiday Market for some shopping. Live music, photos with Santa, and the chance to win a Reindeer Games prize package added to the holiday spirit.
On Saturday, MainStrasse Village welcomed Santa and Mrs. Claus for Breakfast with the Missus. Families had the opportunity to enjoy a delicious breakfast while spending time with the iconic couple. The Covington Street Hockey League organized their 6th Annual CSHL Toy Drive & Ugly Sweater N' Paper Plate Awards at Gypsy's. Attendees were encouraged to wear their ugliest holiday sweaters and bring toys to be donated to Be Concerned: The People's Pantry. These donations would later be made available for local families to purchase at affordable prices. The event aimed to spread the holiday spirit and bring joy to children in need.
