Join us next Tuesday, as we kick off the holiday season at our Annual Holiday Tree Lighting and Winter Wonderland Village on December 5. The festivities will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the Florence Government Center, 8100 Ewing Blvd., Florence, Kentucky.

Mayor Aubuchon will illuminate the holiday tree at 6:00 p.m., accompanied by joyful music from the Florence Community Band and Ockerman Middle School Chorus. The first-ever children’s art contest winner will be announced during the holiday tree lighting. This event will transform the Florence Government Center into a Winter Wonderland from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Families and friends are invited to participate in a range of activities, including crafts, visits and photos with Santa, a hot chocolate bar, captivating train display, story-time with Mrs. Claus, and outdoor lights display courtesy of the Public Services Department.

The Florence Community Holiday Tree, adorned with ornaments crafted by the children of the community, stands as a symbol of unity and shared joy. To contribute, stop by the City of Florence Administration Department to pick up an ornament. Decorated ornaments should be returned by December 4, 2023, and will also be available to decorate the night of the event.

Join us for the free event! Do not miss this opportunity to be part of Florence's most cherished holiday tradition. Join us for an evening of enchantment, community spirit, and the official lighting of the Florence Community Holiday Tree.
