Get ready to bid farewell to summer in style!
Join us as we host our final free summer concert with an unforgettable end-of-summer celebration on Labor Day weekend, Saturday, September 2. We have an exciting lineup of events planned for the whole family, featuring a car show, concert and activities for the kids! The event will be held at the Florence Mall, 2028 Mall Road, Florence, Kentucky in the lower level parking lot (Macy’s).
Gearheads and car enthusiasts, this is your chance to showcase your prized rides! Whether you own a classic beauty or a modern marvel, all types of cars are welcome. The car show kicks off at 11:00 a.m. Dazzle the crowd with your unique vehicle and take home a prestigious award, including Mayor’s Choice, Chief of Police Choice, Best Classic, Best Modern, and Best of Show. Registration for the car show begins at 10:00 a.m. with an entry fee of $20 providing you the opportunity to be entered in our swag bag raffle.
Groove to the tunes by DJ TeddyGi throughout the day. Dance the night away and celebrate the end of summer as live music will begin at 4:00 p.m. featuring the Florence Community Band. “The Grateful Dads” take the stage at 7:00 p.m.
Entertainment galore awaits for the little ones! The kid’s game area will be bustling with an inflatable obstacle course, face painting and balloon artists. Do not forget to capture the memories with our lively free photo booth!
Satisfy your taste buds with an array of treats available for purchase from food trucks including Mingles Soft Serve, Kona Ice, Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck, Sweets & Meats, Phat Daddy’s, Eddies Southern BBQ, Bailey Jaynes, Papa Pat’s Hotdogs, Cookiefection and beverages from the Boone County Jaycees.
