UC Remains in the Top-10 in the NAIA Coaches' Poll

Cumberlands women's tennis is ranked eighth in the NAIA Coaches' Poll released Wednesday morning. The Patriots earned 292 points to remain in the top ten for the third consecutive poll and be one of three MSC teams mentioned in the Poll.

Since the beginning of the season, UC has remained undefeated against NAIA competition, including a win over #24 SCAD-Atlanta. While the Bees had a valiant effort, the Patriots took the match 6-1. Just one day prior, Cumberlands hosted Midway University, which they swept 7-0, without dropping a single set.

There are two Mid-South Conference teams ranked alongside the Pats. Lindsey Wilson dropped two spots, and is sitting in 13th with 227 points, while Campbellsville claimed 137 points to jump one spot, as they are ranked 21st.

Leading the national poll for the second poll is Keiser with 374 points, and 14 first place votes. In second remains Georgia Gwinnett with 362 points, and in third was SCAD Savannah with 350 points.
