Hinson Earns MSC Player of the Week

Jahi Hinson and the Patriots Men's Basketball Team are coming off a 2-0 week in Tennessee where they took down Bethel and #14 Freed-Hardeman. Hinson was named Mid-South Conference Player of the Week for his performances, conference officials announced Monday afternoon.

Hinson averaged 23 points over the two games, scoring 22 points against the Wildcats and 24 against the Lions, both game highs as well. The senior went 8-11 from the foul line Thursday, and shot 11-22 from the field against FHU on Saturday. His 46 total points also moved him into the number two spot in UC's all-time leading scorers list.

This marks Hinson's second time earning MSC Player of the Week this year, as he won this honor the first week of the season.
