Strong Second Half Lifts Patriots to Milestone Win
The (RV) Patriots women's basketball team outscored Cumberland 40-25 in the second to pull past the (RV) Phoenix for a 68-52 win Saturday afternoon at Dallas Floyd Arena. The win was the 800th victory in the program's history along with their 201st conference win as the Patriots move to 11-3 overall and 6-3 in conference play.
Kassie Monday led the way with 20 points, 6 assists, and five rebounds. Kaylie Monday chipped in 15 points and three rebounds, while Lakin Burke chipped in nine points and six rebounds. Destiny Haworth and Channing Lewis combined for 15 points and six rebounds, while Kaedlee Potter grabbed six boards.
