Graduates earn 28 degrees, certificates from Interactive College of Technology-Newport

About 60.7 percent of the 28 degrees and certificates handed out by Interactive College of Technology-Newport in 2017-18 were to students in mechanic and repair technologies/technicians programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Newport conferred 17 certificates in mechanic and repair technologies/technicians programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration maintenance technology/technician. Data shows the school gave out 17 certificates in heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration maintenance technology/technician, followed by 3 associate's degrees in business/office automation/technology/data entry and 3 certificates in business/office automation/technology/data entry.

The college enrolled 65 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
